Richard climbed Pen Y Fan, the largest mountain in South Wales 7 times in 24 hours as part of a deprivation test as his preparation towards his 737 Challenge enters its final stages before the 737 Challenge kicks off officially in December.
This weekend Richard also leaves the UK to spend 7 weeks in the Himalayas climbing Cho Oyu, the 6th largest mountain in the world (8,201m/26,906ft).
Richard will be joined on his final training expedition by former rower and two-times Olympic Gold Medallist, Steve Williams OBE. Steve will be completing both the North Pole and Mount Everest with Richard as part of the 737 Challenge, both face a testing 7 weeks in the Tibetan mountain range.
