Richard and Olympic Rowing Gold Medallist Steve Williams OBE who is joining Richard on the challenge spent the afternoon at Premier Park Studios in London being shot by photographer Dan Reid.

Richard stated; “I was dreading the shoot as I haven’t done that kind of thing up until now, if I was still playing rugby the banter from the boys would’ve been savage! Never the less I actually enjoyed it, Dan the Photographer and Premier Park Studios were both really cool and the made the day a top laugh. I’d like to thank them both for their support towards the 737 Challenge”.

Expect to see plenty more shots of Richard and Steve appearing in the press over the coming months, as the countdown to the start of Richard’s 737 Challenge is fully under way.
In just over four months time Richard will start his epic challenge with the 170km journey to The South Pole. With no break, he will remain on Antarctica to climb the brutal and cold Mount Vinson, the first of the continental mountains.
At the end of this month Richard will leave for the Himalayas on his final training expedition to climb Cho Oyu, the 6th Highest Mountain in the world at 8201m/26906ft. This will be a vital opportunity for Richard to prepare for arguably the toughest of the 737 Challenge’s 9 legs, Mount Everest.
