The documentary, made by Sports Media Services follows the twists, turns and dramas of Richard’s epic 7-month race to climb the highest summits on each of the world’s continents and stand on all 3 poles (The North Pole, South Pole and the summit of Everest) making history in the process.
This week’s episode: ‘Injuries and Everest’ sees Richard battle knee pain to tackle the gruelling Carstensz Pyramid. From the rainforest of West Papua it’s on to -40 in the Arctic before setting off to climb the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest. The brutal back-to-back challenges of The North Pole and Mount Everest provide the ultimate test of courage, strength and nerve.
