One off Dragons shirts boost Parsky’s fundraising

Following the Newport Dragons v Cardiff Blues derby last month, the special one off shirts worn by the Dragons players during their momentous 28-15 win over the Blues have been attracting the bids of many fans wanting to get their hands on a piece of Dragons rugby memorabilia.  The shirts were designed by former player Richard Parks and are raising funds for his 737 Challenge, which is raising funds in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

So far Toby Faletau’s shirt became the 2^nd highest selling shirt in the club’s history (Colin Charvis’s shirt holds the club record) raising a whopping £500.  Can Aled Brew’s shirt, which goes up for auction today beat Faletau’s price?!

Brew made history at the match with his 16^th try of the season, breaking the record for the most tries by any player since Welsh rugby went regional, or maybe you fancy getting your hands on captain Luke Charteris’s jersey?

So far the special jerseys and funds collected on matchday have raised over £3,000 for Richard’s 737 Challenge, an amazing amount for the former Dragons flanker who is currently aiming to summit Mount Everest - the 5^th summit and 3^rd pole of his incredible 7 month race.
