Richard summated the highest mountain in South America conquering the 2nd summit of the famous 7 summits he will climb within 7 months.
Richard has now completed 3 legs in total of his 737 Challenge; The South Pole, Mount Vinson in Antarctica and Aconcagua in South America. Next up is Kilimanjaro in Africa before moving on to Carstenz Pyramid in Indonesia, the highest summit in Oceana, then it’s the crux of the challenge: The North Pole, Mount Everest and Denali in Alaska back to back. Richard will complete his challenge by climbing Mount Elbrus in Russia, the highest summit in Europe.
Along his journey Richard will be joined by Great Britons. On his next leg: Kilimanjaro, Richard will be joined by Marie Curie Nurse Janet Suart. Then two times Olympic Gold medallist and former rower Steve Williams OBE will be joining Richard for two brutal legs of the challenge. He and Richard will travel the last degree to the North Pole before climbing Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. The great Sir Ranulph Fiennes plans to join Richard for the final leg Mount Elbrus.
