Richard Parks’ 737 Challenge is thrilled to announce that tickets have gone on sale for the special Welcome Home Gala Dinner celebrating the finale of the world first 737 Challenge.

This stunning event will be at held at City Hall, Cardiff on 15^th September 2011.

We hope to be celebrating not only a world first but will be looking back on an incredible year of summits, poles, climbing, skiing - all the magical moments achieved by Richard Parks’ 737 Challenge whilst raising funds in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

If last year’s Gala Dinner is anything to go by, the night promises to be spectacular and this year we are planning bigger and better!

On 6th December 2010 Richard Parks’ 737 Challenge held a spectacular Gala Dinner at National Museum Cardiff as the days counted down to Richard setting off on his world first 737 Challenge.

The night raised an incredible £9,819 for the 737 Challenge, which is raising funds in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

TV star Gethin Jones hosted the glamorous Gala Dinner, which saw

inspirational and emotive speeches from Steve Williams OBE who joined Richard for the North Pole and Everest, guests and bidders donated generously as the dinner’s amazing prizes were snapped up in the Silent Auction and Gala Raffle, whilst the Cardiff Arms Park Male Voice Choir and Big Mac Wholly Sound band entertained the guests.
