29th March 2011
Richard Parks’ 737 Challenge is proud to announce that Napp Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited have joined the 737 Challenge as an official base camp sponsor.
For the past 30 years, Napp have been supporting health professionals and organisations like Marie Curie Cancer Care, Richard’s chosen charity, in delivering high quality care to patients at the end of their lives. As well as continuing to provide innovative medicines, Napp also supports education and other initiatives that help to improve the understanding of end-of-life care and ensure patients can be free from pain and other symptoms.
Richard Parks stated; “I am thrilled Napp are supporting the challenge. If it wasn’t for businesses like Napp supporting the 737 Challenge, I wouldn’t be here and able to raise funds in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care so their support is not only vital to the success of the expedition but enables me to carry on raising funds in aid of Marie Curie. I am extremely proud to have them onboard; they are really passionate about the challenge which is just awesome.”
Phil Groom, Napp’s Public Affairs Manager for Wales stated, “I have had the pleasure of meeting Richard a few times and I am really pleased that Napp has been able to sponsor him and his team as he undertakes this truly unique and inspirational challenge to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. This was a great opportunity for us to continue our commitment to supporting those involved in delivering end-of-life care. We wish Richard every success and look forward to following his progress and his safe return.”
Napp are now the sixth base camp sponsor supporting the challenge. The 737 Challenge is still looking for business sponsorship and donations to help support Richard’s world first. If your business would like to get involved in either sponsorship, CSR fundraising, or would like to make a donation, please get in touch or visit our sponsorship, fundraising or donate pages here at 737challenge.com.
