Leg 5 of the 737 Challenge represented a demanding physical and mental test for Richard Parks but he successfully completed the most adventurous climb of the 7 summits in just 7 days after trekking through dense jungle before a technical and tough summit day to reach the peak of Carstensz Pyramid, the highest summit in Australasia.
You can now view all of the pictures from Richard’s incredible journey through the jungle in West Papua to base camp and check out all the images of the breathtaking rock climb of Carstensz including the Tyrolean traverse on the summit ridge.
